#100happy for 15th and 16th October:

• Waking up to sunshine streaming through the gaps in the curtains
  
• Bagels, sausage, scrambled egg and tea
  
• A trip to B&Q with The Boy
  
• Having two dear friends (and their spaniel, who is named after Ole Gunnar Solskjaer) visit our new house
  
• Chatting about life, love and Manchester United in a country pub
  
• Lamb and redcurrant pie with chips, cabbage and gravy
  
• Real ale
  
• Singing along to some inspired choices from the jukebox in the local and staying til the early hours of the morning
  
• Getting a lift home from the landlord in his Jag(!)
  
• Waking early and watching the rugby
  
• Returning to bed for a cheeky nap
  
• Sunshine
  
• A mug of hot Vimto
  
• Fluffy socks
  
• Having no housework to do because we already did it during the week
  
• Tea and ginger biscuits
  
• Red berry scented candles
  
• Cuddles

IrisMacro and I are trying to compile a list of happy things. It started off as a quest to find 100 things that make us happy and is affiliated with Iris' awesome blog, UNdane: Iris Jones vs. The Great Mundane.

But we're not happy with that. We won't stop 'til we're at 100 BILLION happy things! :o)

We started the #100happy tag on Twitter to try and spread the joy and also created a Flickr group to share the photographs that make us smile.

#100happy can be anything that makes you feel happy: as big as the thought that one day there might be world piece, or as silly as the realisation that there's a plate of cold sausages in your fridge when you get home from work.
